Though called Covid-19 (it started in Nov 2019 i think), here we are in May 2021, still very much stucked in it.
Singapore went in Circuit Breaker in April 2020 for 02 months, everybody worked from home, with only essential services allowed to operate, no dining out allowed. had 02 precious months of hardcore.binding with the family, all the homecooked goodies delivered across households, we are still very much connected in our hearts. love the fam too much.
Situation had gotten much better till May 2021 where community cases surged drastically with the mutated virus. With the old folks back home fully vaccinated, we are now much at ease even when the situation worsened, as compared to a year ago.
Was glad i spent my 2019 well with 03 trips to japan. Mar 2019 with my ST clique, went sakura chasing at Nagano:)
Sep 2019 with my fam on Hokkaido roadtrip (03 cars), so nostalgic.. even the kiddos are still talking about the fruit farm experience:) Went to Osaka with just mom with a 2000bucks travel voucher won from a lucky draw. so glad we did it in Nov! Mom enjoyed herself and I'm glad she did.
Career-wise, while writing, I am due for a second interview with my dream organization 2days later and I so hope I dont mess it up. While facing my immediate supervisor and engineers these days, I cant help feeling guilty..
Love life still empty thank you very much. I doubt anyone could put up with my eccentric character anyway. After 34 years, I still do not understand myself.
Besties are all happily married with kids. Laoda & Jasm with 2 each! But 家家有本难念的经..
Some envy me but i envy them more.
