Had a really pleasant outing yesterday with all my good friends from MJC. when was the last time we met up? guess it was about 2+ years ago when we were all in year 1. all those after-lesson bball sessions at NIE. lol. frankly speaking, this is the group of people in NTU that i enjoyed hanging out the most. lol. laoda! thanks for going! hope you don't feel left out sia. i know you won't =) (thanks for your souvenirs~~) I am always grateful to these people that make my JC life not unbearable and in fact, really enjoyable. Its really the best to be able to be with familiar people in familiar ground isn't it? =) can't wait till we meet again. p.s. bei, make urself free next time!

I am so proud to be able to say "I just went for a Liverpool match!" OMG. Liverpool man. A team that i watched on TV since young. not my favourite but definitely a close 2nd. AND the guy that had my eyes got glued to for the last World Cup: Fernando Torres. Totally irresistable. I bought tix for my dad & mom as presents. (Father's day & mom's birthday) Well, the add-on that i told them about this event is THAT THEY ARE GOING WITH ME! =) So that it will be like a dad, mom & child event. and then i decided i want sen to go too. and so! it became a dad, mom & children event. (not that they are particularly interested to go with their son, my bro..) Pictures of the event that got me super hyped-up this weekend.
What an experience. Its basically a stadium FULL of Liverpool fans. Singapore fans? not that i see ANY. lol. Everything that Liverpool players did is GREAT. I don't even dare to praise the Lions loudly. Imagine. When a Lion trip a Liverpool player, all vulgarities come out. I was superb-ly entertained by the whole scenario over there. I was laughing ALL THE TIME. People there kinda visualise themselves in Anfield instead of Singapore. well done people. well done. While i was watching soccer, a part of me was wondering how Alonso's doing over at Hungary GP. did i mention? HE GOT HIS 1ST POLE POSITION. i was practically screaming at the qualifying on saturday. his 1st pole this season. But the car did not do him any justice today. he did not complete the race. its ok! lets keep our hopes high for the Europe GP shall we? hee! great job anyway! p.s. what a week. kobe and Liverpool in a week. whose heart can take it?

I woke up 8am in the morning but it was raining. no sun. THEREFORE, i watched the live telecast of the total eclipse (in China). 3 hrs show. damn xiong. Allow me to explain. Its a period of time that the moon comes between the earth and the sun. Since the overlap is aligned just nice, shadow of the moon will plunge the affected area into darkness. 3Q. something like that lah. The next time we see a long duration total eclipse will be in 139 years i think.

The infamous 黄鹤楼 during the eclipse. seems like evening time isn't it? they ON the lights there..By this time, The moon is gradually pulling away from the sun.
The picture below is a really a precious shot. they kinda call it the "sparkle" of the recovery process.
Phenomenons like this just make us seem so insignificant and powerless. For me, it is pure "in awed". I have this HUGE thing for astronomy since like eons ago? lol. I call this "in-borned interest". it is not developed =)
p.s. To think i almost slept with my binoculars last night. lol.

Just came back from a wedding dinner of one of my relatives. those kind that you really see once a year during CNY. Well, im the bride's relative. It's held at Swissotel Merchant Court. The bride's only sibling, her younger brother, went up the stage and sang while playing his guitar. my brother, who was seated right next to me, upon seeing that volunteered that he will breakdance on my wedding. =) well done. We were paying close attention to the songs playing in the background and we kinda concluded they were from the 101 album. lol. knew that that was the best album=). then i start to wonder to ask who to be my emcee. he said better not ask kex, later don't know how it will turn out. LOL. come to think of it, i really don't know how it will turn out. =) after some pondering, he says jm may be a good choice. but must ask her not to laugh. LOL. did i mention i was scrutinising the menu for sharkfin, knowing that there is be a possibility that sharkfin will not be served (yes chups, you). luckily there is. whew. the gift is cute. those tag-like photo-frame. and man. her photoshots are damn nice lah! must be damn ex. my supervisor once told me that those cheap packages will only ask you to do those "cheese~" poses. urgh. makes me shiver. Shi-Lian-Pai for your wedding photos. CAN U IMAGINE?! all along, i never think of scrimping for my wedding dinner. yes. definitely not dinner.. p.s. when will be the next wedding dinner?
