saw chups recapping on our grad trip and i should too! my first time doing SOOOooo much by myself. planning was tedious and sometimes exasperating. it even made me wanna go no more. that was how tired i was trying to get things in place. kex was trying to cheer me up the day before we left cuz i was so down. thanks pal. Korea. e 1st day tt we landed was plain horrible. everything's so NOT going well. struggling to communicate with the locals. u know,get some help. the complicated network of subway lines was thrown in our face with the OUTDATED korean subway map we got from KTO Singapore. goodness. layout of the subway, another good 1. a maze! to transfer from 1 line to another u hafta walk and walk and walk. when u wanna exit the subway, bam! STAIRS. they just go on and on and on. imagine us 3 gals with our huge luggage! and no1 bothered to help. the lend-a-helping-hand rate in korea? lets just settle for a 5% rate. public manners rate also about there. go on dreaming if u expect a "sorry" or "excuse me".=) Of course we had our fair share of experience with local living. even went on to watch worldcup with the people there wearing their official support tee! that was really something. Dae-Han-Min-Gug~lol. Everland was REALLY good. our bunny ears was GOOD~lotte was so-so. ok fine. they are like 500% better than escape. Busan. people there are so not friendly. is it their shyness to apprpach us for their english proficiency? nah, i'll just leave it at they are PLAIN rude to foreigners or can't be bothered. oh well. Jeju. haa! a super touristy place. lol. did i mention that our hotel is plain WHOLESOME? top floor 2 rooms connected. 2 bathrooms, 3 beds, 2 coffee tables, fridge, heater...so CHILL can. always looking forward to chilling at the hotel. lol. started having instant noodles for dinner since then. keke. cuz we CAN'T take the food there anymore! LOL. our meals stated to consist of pasta pasta and more pasta. lol. Shopping in korea. GOOD. myeongdong is good. ewha woman uni there is also good. but yah, myeongdong's still the best! i don't mind going back to korea to shop again. lol. My trip budds. they are the best! no morning temper. lol. and we help each other out. what do you call this? xiang qin xiang ai! LOL. thou there are times that i feel that my temper can be improved, i hope i didn't make it too tough for my budds. as you know, im spoilt. forgive me yeah? our game session to decide our order of bath. i really enjoyed it=) Homesick?definitely. me and woon got it really bad i guess. lol. i was quite through with going thru the tough times without my family without me. family was worried sick that i didn't call for like 6 days after i left but i just couldn't bring myself to call. the call would only remind me how homesick i am, but still, i called. once. A memorable grad trip. first time that i am SO independent. no bro to carry my stuff. no mom to bargain. no dad to pay. no sis to sleep late with. no aunt to plan everyting out and no uncle to prepare breakfast. lol. im so sheltered. thats why i said: an experience! collating photos now and hope to come up with a photobook in the near future!
